"Order was right, no real issues"
My order from The Nile arrived with correct books and nothing was missing, so that was good. The packaging was fine too, not amazing but did job. It took a bit longer than I was hoping, but main thing is the order was accurate. Overall, I’m happy with it.

The book showed up in perfect condition, which I really appreciated. It was packed well with no dents, marks, or bent corners. I’m happy with it, especially since I’m always a bit careful about what I spend on books.

"Pretty good Experience overall"
I ordered a book from thenile.com and it actually showed up faster than I expected, which was a nice surprise. The tracking was clear enough once it got going, and the parcel arrived in good Condition. The only small thing was that the updates were a bit Slow at the start, so I wasn’t totally sure if it had shipped yet. But no real issues and it felt Reliable overall. I’d use them again

"Wording was a little misleading"
The product was mostly what I expected, but some of the wording in the description felt kind of misleading once it actually arrived. A couple details weren’t as clear as they should’ve been, which was frustrating. It’s not a terrible buy, and shipping was fine, but I wish the page had been more specific and upfront. Overall, it was okay, just not quite what I thought I was getting.

"Account settings were a pain"
I had a frustrating time trying to update my account details on The Nile. I just wanted to change my email address, but it kept refusing to save and didn’t give me any clear error message, so I had no idea what I was doing wrong.

Support did get back to me eventually, but it took longer than I expected and I had to explain the issue more than once. It was fixed in the end, but the whole thing felt way more stressful than it needed to be, and I was just relieved when it was finally over.

"Easy tracking, unlike some places"
I ordered from The Nile and the tracking was straightforward to follow. They sent emails at each stage, so I wasn’t sitting there wondering where my order had disappeared to, which is more than I can say for a few other places. Delivery was about as long as they said it would be. Overall, happy with it and no real dramas.

"Refund Was Fine, Just Slower Than I Like"
The return itself was accepted without any issues, which I appreciated. The only thing is the refund took longer than I expected, and I did have to follow up once to check on it. To be fair, I’m probably a bit impatient when it comes to getting refunds back, but I still think the updates could’ve been clearer. Not a bad experience overall, just wish it had been a little quicker.

"Checkout worked, but felt a bit suspiciously clunky"
Ordering from The Nile was mostly fine, but the checkout process definitely had me side-eyeing it a bit. The page was slow to update after payment, so I found myself double-checking everything like, “Alright, what’s going on behind the curtain here?” Maybe it was just lag, maybe the system was having a moment, who knows. Payment did go through in the end and nothing actually went wrong, but it wasn’t exactly smooth either. Not a disaster, just feels like the checkout could use some cleaning up. 3 stars from me.

I checked out thenile.com.au thinking they’d have a good range, but it was kind of a letdown. A bunch of the books and items I searched for were either missing or Not Available, and the stuff that did show up felt really random. Some things even appeared in search but then couldn’t actually be bought, which was frustrating. Total waste of time tbh, I just ended up ordering from somewhere else.

"Packaging was okay, okay at best"
My order got here fine, and thankfully the book wasn’t damaged, but the box was kind of crushed when it arrived. There really wasn’t much padding inside either. It wasn’t a big disaster or anything, just okay, okay packaging. For books, I’d definitely like to see a little more protection.

"Invoice matched my order fine"
I ordered a couple of books from The Nile and the receipt came through pretty much straight away. The invoice had the right prices, shipping, and GST details, so it was fine for keeping with my records. The only small thing was that I had to check my spam folder first to find the email, but once I found it, everything was correct. Happy enough with it, 4 stars.

"Promo code just worked first try"
I had a promo code for The Nile and it just worked first go at checkout. The discount popped up straight away, with no weird errors or having to refresh the page.
After that, the order went through fine and the confirmation email came through quickly. I was just happy it was so easy, since promo codes on some other sites can be a bit of a hassle...

"Preorder was painless"
I preordered a book and it all went smoothly. It showed up close to the date they gave me, which is really all I was hoping for. The updates were fine too, though there were a couple times where I was kind of wondering what was going on because they felt a little slow to come through. But overall, no major complaints, it worked out
